SAT备考之如何秒杀新SAT阅读中的寻证题

新SAT中，无论是阅读，还是文法，甚至是写作，都会涉及到寻找证据支持。可以说，学会从阅读中快速找到证据对新SAT拿到至关重要。

　　这里将为大家科普新SAT考试中的证据寻找题的解决攻略。

　　一、证据寻找题究竟是个啥？

　　在新SAT的阅读和文法部分，总共有18道证据题，文法部分占了8道。就文法部分而言，我们可以把证据寻找题总结为以下三个类型：

　　Type 1:  Setting the Stage（寻找铺垫）

　　Choose the right piece of evidence to include in the passage to set up the information the author presents later.

　　这类题要求考生选出最能支撑下文信息的证据。

　　Type 2: Logical Additions （添加逻辑）

　　Decide whether the author should add a given sentence to the passage strengthen the argument (and why or why not) or choose the best sentence to add out of four possibilities.

　　这类考题要求考生决定是否需要添加一个增强文章论点逻辑的句子，或者从给出的四个选项找一个最恰当的句子。

　　Type 3: Data Descriptions （数据描述）

　　Choose the best way to phrase the passage so that it accurately reflects the data provided.

　　选择最能精确反映原文数据的表达。

　　咱们来看几个栗子：

　　Type 1: Setting the Stage

　　解析：

　　本题就是要考生判断此处的表达“leading the way”是否足以让上下文的信息flows well。

　　B答案很明显和上文的信息clean, restore重复了，跟下文的信息也毫不相关。C答案说“America Tropical”处于被毁坏的风险的之中，下文并没有提及，只是说它重建之后，变成了旅游胜地。迷惑性的答案是D，说“America Tropical”等待着人们的欣赏，其实下文说得很清楚，它已经是一处游览胜地了。所以，原文的表达“leading the way”（）足以衔接下文信息：“America Tropical”是个得到重建成为游览胜地的mural（壁画）

　　答案: A

　　Type 2: Logical Additions

　　例1：

　　解析：

　　本题问考生，如果在11这个位置加上这么一句是否会画蛇添足。那我们就得看看原文的context了。

　　我们先不管合不合适，把这句话代入进去看看，感觉有点唐突，而且原文中心也不突出了。前文已经提到过了mural已经被看做是一个"powerful work."那么我们就可以把答案的范围缩小到C和D两项。C/D到底选哪个呢？到底是重复了原文的信息还是跟原文的claim有冲突呢？

　　其实，刚才提到过了，加上这么一句就会像C答案说的那样重复了上文的信息，也就是画蛇添足，多此一举了。D错在何处？D答案不合适，因为这里只是重复了，并没有与原文的claim冲突。

　　答案: C

　　例2：

　　解析：

　　例1是让考生判断yes or no，本题让学生四选一，从四句话里面挑选一句最能支撑上文的表达。

　　题干是要选一句能够说明nonorganic food安全性的表达，A答案说organic foods应该严格管理，与nonorganic food的安全性无关，反而可能说明organic foods是安全的。B答案犯了和A答案同样的错误，也可以无情地排除掉。C答案解释说，在吃nonorganic food之前，消费者其实是可以通过冲洗，剥皮，将风险降到，所以是能够说明nonorganic food的安全性的。D答案说的是pesticides（杀虫剂）使用的广泛性，也是不能作为the safety of nonorganic food的证据的。

　　答案: C

　　Type 3: Data Descriptions

　　解析：

　　看到这个题，小伙伴们首先是不是feel confused，再仔细阅读一下题干，本题是要让你从图中给出的数据，并保持原文句子顺序不变的情况下，将pop, soda, coke这三种软饮按照符合map所描述的信息重新代入到原文中去。

　　根据图示，我们很容易发现，在美国中西部听到的应该是pop,而不是原文所说的soda,美国南部使用的是coke，而不是pop，美国东北和西南占主导地位的是soda.答案就只有C了。

　　答案: C

　　二、3个建议破解新SAT语法寻找证据题

　　Tip #1: Plug in the Answer（代入答案）

　　If you’re given several different options for the appropriate phrase to insert, start reading one or two sentences before the question number shows up in the paragraph.Read through that part of the paragraph in its modified form, and then continue reading for a sentence or two afterward to see if it really makes sense in the flow of the passage (and based on the facts presented in the paragraph).

　　将选项中的答案代入到原文中，根据上下文看看原文读起来衔接是否自然，逻辑是否清晰。

　　Tip #2: Find Direct Support（寻找直接证据）

　　The whole point of these questions is to test your ability to pick out answers that make the most sense based on the information in the passage.For every choice you make, you should be able to find part of the passage (or figure) that directly supports your answer.This is a good way to double-check that you didn’t make any unfounded assumptions (or reading mistakes) to arrive at your answer.

　　判定答案的依据就是在原文中是否能够找到直接的证据来支撑你的判断。

　　Tip #3: Read Carefully（再仔细阅读一遍）

　　The Writing section requires strict attention to detail, so try not to rush, and double-check your answers by reading them over again in the context of the passage.Pay attention to the tone and flow of the passage as a whole.There are a few questions where you’ll need to refer to evidence earlier in the passage to confirm your answers, like the question we did in the Logical Additions category. The sentence didn’t make sense because it repeated information that was already stated earlier in the passage.

       确定答案之后，千万不要急于求成，再代入原文重读一遍，进行double-check.
