The maths course in high school America is more or less the same as the one in junior high school in Chinese in terms of difficulty, because the knowledge require more about the solving process instead of the results. The main content is trigonometric, coordinate geometry, plane geometry and solid geometry, quadratic equation and application, simple combination and permutation, inequation, fraction and equation, abstract function and word problems. Key chapters contain trigonometric, coordinate geometry, abstract function, quadratic equation and application. The exam will focus on the exact solving process and multiple ways to solve the same problems, especially in word problems. Additionally, it requires a basic modeling concept of some problems in daily life and the relevant relationship.
