The chemistry course in America is more or less the same as the one in Chinese in terms of difficulty, because the knowledge is more about the application in real life, base on the rules that we have learned in classes. The main content is chemical stoichiometry, microscopic chemistry, thermodynamics and kinetics, chemical equilibrium, periodic table and its rules, ionic equilibrium and ionic equation, electrochemistry and coordination compounds. Key chapters contain thermodynamics and kinetics, the structure of atoms and molecules, chemical bonding, periodic table, ionic equilibrium and electrochemistry. The exam will focus on the scientific explanation of the some real life examples the concept of knowledge. The chapter of chemical bonding and coordination compounds are the most difficult ones, because these two chapters will be very abstract.
